SKI - Summa Kumagai Inc is a PCAB Triple A Licensed Contractor and a SEC-Registered Company since January 6, 1976. It is now one of the top (5) general contractors in the Philippines and has consistently been in the Top 500 corporations in the country.
SKI has built itself over 28 years into a highly diversified construction company with high profile projects here and abroad. Its construction expertise has given rise to some of the Philippines’ major power stations, industrial plants, dams, highways, bridges, multi-level buildings, residential developments and theme parks. It has also built a highly qualified organization of professionals dedicated to the effective management of the construction process.

SKI began in 1976 as a small scale General Building Contractor of schools, hospitals and commercial buildings. In the 80’s, it expanded its operations with the building of road and dams. By the turn of the century, SKI has built its reputation consistent to its corporate mission in its countless projects and has maintained a perfect 10 in delivering its commitments right on schedule and according to specifications.
In 2000, SKI achieved a milestone – it was the first Philippine Contractor accredited with ISO 9001:2000 by TUV Management Service GmbH as General Contractor – Construction Industry.
In 2003, in its pursuit of total quality in construction through new and innovative techniques, SKI partnered with SYMONS CORPORATION, the leading manufacturer of concrete forms in the USA. The extensive Symons line of concrete forming products have helped contractors all over the world do their jobs faster, easier, safer and more cost effective. Symons Formworks is now exclusively distributed by SKI in the Philippines.
Today, SKI is involved in large-scale civil and architectural engineering projects: The New Medical City Hospital, Rockwell Land’s Manansala Towers; Ayala Land Inc.’s Ferndale and Montgomery Place Residential Developments; Department of Public Highways’ NAIA Sales Interchange, among other. With the full support of its new management team, SKI is expected to assume an even more aggressive role in the Philippine construction scene.
